Why is our Minoxidil More Effective?

A common question we receive from clients during their first consultation is how our hair loss products differ from other minoxidil products such as Rogaine.

During a regular treatment, minoxidil should reach the hair follicle and simulates hair growth. When an individual uses minoxidil products alone, sebrum oil from the sebaceous glands block the minoxidil from reaching the hair follicle. So what makes Christoffels minoxidil more effective? When minoxidil is mixed with a carrier ingredient, it stays in a liquid state longer, allowing it to penetrate down into the follicle and providing the maximum effect. With the use of Christoffels gentle DHT shampoo, a carrier lotion and dexpanthenal (12%), minoxidil is able to reach the follicle. Our Complete treatment program is designed to make minoxidil more effective and to give you better results compared to using other products, which contain minoxidil by itself.

Christoffels minoxidil is FDA approved with 76% of the people obtaining some to moderate hair growth, 40% moderate to good re-growth, and 8% dense re-growth. We also encourage our clients to pair our Complete treatment with our low-level laser light therapy to accelerate the hair growth and bring in fuller, thicker hair.

Theres no accurate way to monitor the effectiveness of Rogaine. At Christoffels we like to see everyone every 1-2 months for an evaluation. With the use of digital pictures and a magnifying scope, we are able to monitor the progress of the treatment. Everyone responds to the products differently and frequent evaluations allow us to make adjustments as needed.
